Dr. MALLORY Hackbarth

Welcome to Carolina Endodontics

First and foremost, we believe that people should have their own healthy teeth for an entire lifetime.

To support that belief, we subscribe to a program of preventive dental care. It is also our belief that the prevention of disease is far more enjoyable, less costly, and more comfortable for all concerned. So our goal is to help you achieve and maintain a healthy mouth as quickly and as economically as possible.

Our Mission

We spend extra time diagnosing each patient and explaining their treatment recommendations. We want our patients to understand the “why” and “how” of their procedure, which helps to alleviate any anxiety they may have about the process.

Why Choose An Endodontist?

Efficiency

Because endodontists solely perform endodontic treatment, these complicated procedures are efficient and precise in their hands. This equates to less time in the chair and easier recovery. Root canals performed by endodontists have been shown to be more successful, especially in molar teeth.

Experience

Endodontists train as general dentists and then complete an additional 2- or 3-year residency to study advanced root canal procedures. Endodontists exclusively perform procedures to help you save your teeth including root canals, retreatments, and surgery. On average, endodontists perform nearly 25 root canal treatments a week, while general dentists perform less than two.

Scheduling

Most endodontists have flexibility in scheduling patients and accommodating emergencies. When you are having pain or are told you may need a root canal by your dentist, we want to get you in quickly so you can be comfortable and relieve your discomfort or keep you from developing pain.

Advanced Technology

Endodontists use technology that most general dentists do not offer like operating microscopes, 3D imaging, ultrasonic instrumentation and fiber optic light, to provide the highest quality of diagnostics as well as treatment.
